What Do Virtual Nurse Educators Do?
At Inizio Engage, we define the role of a Remote Nurse or Patient Support Nurse as a healthcare professional who plays a key role in guiding patients through their treatment journey.
In this position, nurses provide supplemental education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers by explaining and training them on how to properly use therapies and medical devices — such as self-injection pens — either virtually via video calls or during on-site visits, depending on the program.
These nurses are not just educators — they’re compassionate partners who help patients feel confident, empowered, and supported throughout their treatment.
